As a naturopathic physician, my role is to ignite, excite, and empower patients to take charge of their health and wellbeing. It is a pleasure to participate in the My Health401k™ Education Series, in order to improve the dissemination of factual natural health information.
Dr. Kaley Burns received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She went on to complete her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois. During her time in Chicago, Dr. Burns worked as a research fellow assisting with various studies on massage therapy and manual medicine. Additionally, she volunteered time in Nicaragua providing health care to an underserved population as part of Naturopathic Doctors International. As a Naturopathic physician she applies a variety of research-based natural therapies to address the underlying causes of each patient’s symptoms.
Dr. Burns is a licensed naturopathic physician at the Connecticut Natural Health Specialists in Manchester, Connecticut. She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the American Medical Women’s Association. In addition to being an ITCA certified triathlon and endurance coach, Dr. Burns is certified in Fundamental IV Nutritional Therapy and Rocktape Functional Movement Techniques.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Dr. Burns enjoys competing in endurance events, playing the piano, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new hiking trails. Particular areas of interest for Dr. Burns include autoimmune conditions, gastrointestinal disorders and metabolic concerns but welcomes a variety of conditions.
